7. Treatment Philosophy & Modalities

The department integrates medical care, scientific research, and clinical education through a comprehensive TCM and integrative medicine model. Our approach emphasizes:

Syndrome differentiation combined with disease identification

Treatment integrated with prevention and rehabilitation

Humanistic care and social responsibility

Guided by the principle of "Strengthening Healthy Qi and Eliminating Pathogenic Factors" (扶正祛邪), we address the core pathogenesis of cancer—"root deficiency with branch excess" (本虚标实)—by harmonizing organ function alongside detoxification, softening hardness and dissipating masses, and resolving blood stasis to unblock collaterals. This systematic approach aims to suppress tumor progression, mitigate adverse effects of conventional therapy, improve quality of life, and prolong survival.

Treatment Modalities:

Traditional Chinese Medicine (herbal therapy)

Radiotherapy

Chemotherapy

Interventional therapy

Targeted therapy

Immunotherapy

Cellular therapy

30+ TCM appropriate techniques, including acupuncture, herbal hot compresses, herbal fumigation and washing, acupoint plastering, massage, gua sha, and cupping
