Department History
The Special Medical Service Office was originally established as the Cadre Health Care Section in October 1994. In 2007, the Famous TCM Doctor Studio was created to expand high‑end Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnostic and treatment services. In July 2024, the department was renamed the Special Medical Service Office, marking a new phase of optimized functions and high‑quality special medical services.

The office has received numerous provincial, municipal, and hospital‑level awards, including Advanced Collective and Advanced Department in Professional Ethics. It is recognized as a benchmark department for high‑end medical services within the hospital.
Department Leadership

Scope of Research and Services
The office coordinates the daily operations and quality control of special medical services, the Famous TCM Doctor Studio, and the Famous TCM Diagnosis and Treatment Center across all hospital campuses. It integrates TCM resources from 16 national, provincial, and municipal key disciplines, combining traditional TCM syndrome differentiation with modern imaging and laboratory data to achieve precise diagnosis and treatment.

The department operates a modern, independent clinical area of 3,000 square meters, featuring 37 private consultation rooms in a comfortable, well‑organized environment. Outpatient volume has grown steadily in recent years, meeting the demand for high‑quality TCM services among residents of the Greater Bay Area.
